Known only from two ares in southern drainages of Papua New Guinea, separated by a distance of approximately 240 km. Fish samples were collected from a small spring next to the Lubu River of the Kikori River system, located in hilly terrain, approximately 150 km upstream from the mouth of the Kikori River at an elevation of about 600 m (Ref. 77038). |
